‘Teen Wolf’: De-Aging Derek Hale Is A Great Way To Go Back To Basics

The Season 4 premiere of ‘Teen Wolf’ ended with the de-aging of Derek Hale, and while we all miss Tyler Hoechlin — I know I do — I think that it’s a great way for the series to go back to basics, and to tie up loose ends from the beginning of the series. Do you agree?

As much as we all love Teen Wolf, we also know that it’s not really the best at closure, or tying up loose ends, or explaining its own mythology, or, well. It has its faults. However, the Season 4 premiere, “The Dark Moon,” ended with one of the most confusing — and intriguing — cliffhangers we’ve seen from our favorite show about teenage werewolves in a while — the de-aging of Derek Hale.
